Tasers can be dangerous. Do not attempt to recreate any of the demonstrations seen on the show without consultation of trained Taser professionals.

How it works
  1. A Taser uses compressed air to launch a pair of small darts at its target.
  2. The darts are connected to the weapon with wires. In the Advanced Taser M-Series, the wires extend as far as 21 feet.
  3. When the darts make contact, an electrical charge is released from the weapon through the wires.
  4. The charge is strong enough to disrupt the human body's over electrical impulses. This disrupts the central nervous system, causing the muscles to contact.
  5. The target usually recovers within several minutes.
  6. If the darts miss, there are two probes in front of the weapon, allowing the unit to be used as a stun weapon.
  7. The Advanced Taser M-Series uses standard AA alkaline batteries.
