debating the probable release price of Sony's
PlayStation Portable. With the Nintendo DS already locked in at a price
of $149.99, a price of double that amount or more could mean certain death for
the handheld.
Adding yet another reason for the poor Sony PSP to tug at your heartstrings,
Sony announced their upcoming handheld will support MP3 playback in
its music player. This follows the announcement made earlier this week
that Sony audio players will begin to support the MP3 format after a long history

In the continuing battle of Vivendi Universal versus Valve regarding their
use of the Steam broadband platform, gamers awaiting the release of Half-Life
2 might end up the real losers. Blues
News is reporting that Vivendi Universal is legally allowed to hold
the game for up to six months, which could result in a huge delay for
the hotly anticipated title.
In other Half-Life 2 news, IGN
has a roundup of several retail sites that are leaking the prospect of a Half-Life
2 Collector's Edition, which will cost $79.99.

has the news that Sony will release Gran Turismo 4 in time
